nobody, absolutely nobody starts a conversation with “i’m a civil engineer” when selling a car. yes this is 100% a scam.
Plenty of scammers on [mobile.de](http://mobile.de), unfortunately. I`ve reported them but the official answer was that is just a platform where people and companies are posting cars for sale, so they ( mobile) don`t have any liability.
My advice: go there check yourself the car, sign the contract, take the documents and only than after pay the car. Also true that not always a posted car is a scam, some people are just simply too candid.
