      You couldn’t seriously have McDowell follow Michael D. He’s like the anti-Michael D. When the Irish people decided to kick the PDs to the dustbin of history for their racist and neoliberal economic policy you seriously couldn’t have him as the voice of the people.

      I wonder who will run for President. Partly because I don’t think Michael McDowell would have been a good choice if he did run.

      Surprised McDowell isnt running. Must have got a bad poll back. He was in poll position you’d have thought after the referendums but maybe too much time has passed, or maybe people remember he is a p***k.

      After the last elections turned into “let’s rake over everything this candidate has done in their entire lives since they were old enough to talk”, I suspect this year we will get a slate of candidates in September for the election in November to just rush at the election.
