I really wish the long-term impact of Trumps negotiating strategy was explained to his followers better. As he’ll get “deals” out if but that doesn’t mean that burning down your global relationships was the way to go about getting them.
The UK has been begging for a trade agreement with the US since Brexit. Tariffs were not needed to get that 5 page ‘historic’ promissory note done.
I hope the EU is preparing a bit more than the 20 billions and 95 billions.
