Osservandolo quotidianamente dal Nord, faccio fatica a credere che sia in Germania. Sto pensando di trasferirmi esclusivamente a causa dell’aumento di pochi gradi (anche se supera i 35c per una settimana o due all’anno)

Yeah it’s basically where you mentioned. Usually the area around Freiburg and the most Southwestern part of Germany get the warmest temperatures, but those also often expand down the Rhine and into RLP.

    3. It’s the upper rhine valley.

Warmest region of Germany. If you want a nice city with nice travel options, pick Freiburg.

It’s representative for the Upper Rhine plain which includes Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden,  Offenburg, Freiburg and Weil am Rhein.

    5. Upper Rhine valley. It channels warm air from France into Germany, that’s why it’s warmer than average there.

From Strasbourg. Can confirm! 19 degrees yesterday, and 19 today and tomorrow as well 🙂

    7. That is Freiburg, Karlsruhe is hovering around 19 at the moment and a bit further north. A bit below the 18.

I remember about 17 years ago, there was 1 degree in Rostock and 20 degrees in Freiburg. This is why it is called the Riviera of Germany.

I live in Bonn and work in Cologne. In both cities it’s around 18 degrees right now. I‘m not using a jacket right now because it’s warm enough.
