Is there no EU alternative? I am not comfortable with the idea of buying guided weapons from a country who may decide if EU can or cannot defends itself against Russia.

I guess with modern tech it is possible to make a missile like that cheaper than 250 000 for a piece

We are just restocking missiles for the CLU-s we already have
If shopping for a new system, I would look into Ukrainian *Stugna-P* which is only 20 000 per missile and can hit targets at up to 4km and uses laser guidance.
Not as mobile but puts the operators at less risk since it is tele-operated.
Of course, there probably are not too many available for export currently.

I cannot imagine how a soldier can ever find the nerve to pull the trigger knowing it’ll set his country back for the price of a house.
Even worse bailing out of an aircraft that costs several hundred times that.
