Michael O’Leary probabilmente finirà più ricchi di € 100 milioni nelle prossime settimane se il prezzo delle azioni di Ryanair continua a salire rapidamente.

Why shouldn’t he? He’s built the biggest airline in Europe

Can’t read the article but a claim based on “if share price continues to rise rapidly” seems like a dubious one. If the share price rising is such a given, sure we’ll all just lump our money into it?

The share price is largely irrelevant to the prices customers pay. BUT, be careful, if Ryanair decides to raise fares too much without improving quality, people will choose other airlines (and thankfully, there’s competition). Travelers go with Ryanair for the low prices, not for the service. The seats are extremely uncomfortable, and there’s a lot of pressure to push sales during the flight.

    4. It’s all very well emoting about the millions, but won’t somebody please think of the billions?

He could be the richest man in the world and it wouldn’t be enough for him. I’ve only ever heard him moaning

Look. The cabin crew and pilots get 4x 500ml water bottles onboard each day on a “trial basis” so him getting 100million is super great and fun.

Cabin crew and pilots used to get stock options and could get rich together with management. Better of course to get rich by yourself and pull up the ladder behind you!

1.62 Billion in net profit but “down 22% from forecast” means no raises and stalled negotiations with unions.

Good enough for a 100 million bonus for yourself though.

it really is a complicated love hate relationship cause as a person god he’s an absolute areshole but what cannot be denied is how much success he’s had with Ryanair and really is one of the most successful businessmen in Ireland’s history in almost 31 years as CEO of the company he’s taken them from no namers to becoming one of the most successful airlines in the planet

as for cramming people into the flights ? well yea it’s part of the business model to get very good prices look most of these flights go short distances ie sub 5 hours where it doesn’t matter as much so if you want a very affordable package to take you from Point A to Point B Ryanair is a solid choice

Good on him – a real home grown Irish success story and one to be proud of….
