      Safe is relative, by comparison Ireland is safer than anywhere in the USA.

      There are no utopias, every place has it’s bad eggs.

      Parts of Ireland are less safe than parts of other countries. And vice versa.

      This kind of story can be disastrous for tourism. We need to support tourists better, including better deterrence of crime against tourists.
