Nel 2022, i corridori al Bruxelles 20k venivano ancora consegnati bottiglie di plastica monouso (decine e migliaia di esse)
Oggi le cose sembravano molto diverse: tazze riutilizzabili e imballaggi d’acqua più ecologici. Non è perfetto, ma è sicuramente un passo nella giusta direzione.

L’acqua del rubinetto gratuito in Belgio su Facebook ha fatto una campagna per l’acqua del rubinetto pubblico e la fine dell’inquinamento da plastica inutile dall’acqua in bottiglia.
Volevo solo condividere un po ‘di buone notizie e forse mantenere la pressione per ulteriori progressi. 🙂

Public provided reusable cups only matter if they actually are reused! And the logistics for that aren’t easy!!
If they actually are reused, then… Well, color me very impressed. And happy.

130 kilometers from the Spa source to Brussels is not that far. Though I do agree tap water is perfectly fine. The marketing opportunity for the water company and their contributions can help cover the costs of the event which is probably higher in Brussel vs Ukkel. Also depending on the taste/quality might not be advisable to use tap water near the event.
