    1. 💯 with you on this one. If we’re not going to defend our home, we can just give up already and hand pootin the keys.

I’d very much prefer we’d grow a pair.

I understand your frustration and I’m with you, but it is not true that we cannot do anything.

Donate to the Ukrainian armed forces and humanitarian associations.

Get involved in politics and have your say, because this is a problem for all of us, not just Ukrainians.

We should use the damn social networks to coordinate our efforts, we have the most powerful media in history and we use it for fucking Brainrot instead of organising to make our voices heard, the Russians services have realised this and are using it against us.

We can do a hundred times as much as now

I understand people’s frustration with this war and some europeans think that sending armies would actually what we should be doing.

      No.

Before you do that build 100 of thousands of bunkers, make sure we prepare for nuclear war entirely because we are risking a eu vs russia war, 2 powers with nuclear arsenal. Men can fight and kill each other but the children dying in a radioactive waste is something that is never justified.

Its very easy to be consumed by all the horrible things happening in the World. It can be suffocating if we dwell on it too much. You, and I, and many others don’t have superpowers. We can’t change the entire world. And thats okay. We are human. All we can do is take things one day at a time and be there for each other.
Try to take your mind off of this stuff when you can, do the things you enjoy, take up new hobbies. Do not watch those videos. You’ve already seen them. You know how bad it is. Don’t torture yourself by consuming more of them, and please be responsible about how much you are willingly to give to ease the suffering of others. Donating is good, but don’t bleed yourself completely dry. You can’t be there for others if you aren’t doing okay.

Enjoy life as much as you can, friend

I donate whenever I can. Missiles, cars, drones were bought from my money too. Ever killed kacap means war is closer to end.

Write to your representatives, raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, push back against pro-Russian disinformation. We are all involved in a hybrid war right now. If Ukraine falls, Finland will be next, and Russia is counting on the resolve of NATO and the EU faltering.

Everyone focused on Ukraine, no one gives a **** about Gaza.

    8. quantumadvantage100 on

If Israel can do it to Palestinians then Russia can do the same to Ukranians. Proud Texas/American here stands for Russia. Ukraine supports communism and triffeling acts. Russia is no longer the USSR anymore.

    9. fooloncool6 on

Europe isnt gonna send troops until the last Ukrainian dies, and even then theyll say “they still gotta kill all Poles before they get to Berlin”

    10. mikiencolor on

Hold a meeting, beg the US for help, buy 50% less Russian gas, write a strongly worded letter. There is so much to do as a European.

I am also very tired of war, not only in Ukraine, but also in Palestine.

      War is pure insanity.

And the only way to stop the freaks, is with actions, boots on the ground, and help liberate Ukraine, Gaza, and the West Bank!

After that, there’ll be a bit of air to breathe, and then, help others stop fighting as well, be it in Sudan, or anywhere else.

Never again should really mean never again!

WE MUST TAKE PROFIT OUT OF WAR!

    12. mazaltovcocktail on

Me too! I wish I could do more than toss a few bucks, I’m unemployed so I can only donate pocket change. I wish I was someone like a soldier or a search and rescue person or just someone who had the fortitude to do SOMETHING, something real, something that brought results! I even sorta looked into possibly getting trained as someone that could go over and help in SOME way. I know that’s so stupid since obviously I know that war is no joke, and you can’t get trained in a week and then pop over there all pretentious like you’re some big damn hero. I know can imagine the worst possible outcomes but that even then it will be 10x worse. And obviously to go over for something unprepared that you can’t handle to satisfy your own sense of guilt is selfish. You’ll just get in the way and it’s not about you, it’s about them.

Not to mention the super obvious fact that it would take at least 2 years to be certified or something, and holy crap do I not want this war to still be going on then, so yeah it’s a stupid impossible idea

But I hate it, being useless and powerless we scream at our leaders going “we don’t want this! We want our country to help” they say no we go to our other leaders and scream “stop him! Hold him accountable! We want someone who will help them” they go no. We protest, post donate make our voices known and it does nothing. We can’t do anything until it’s time to vote or we start a war ourselves or something.

At the very least I want to TRY, even though it’s for my own self satisfaction. So I still toss whatever pocket change I can muster their way, and I signed up for search and rescue seminars that should start in a month. nothing major just overviews and explanations, basic first aid & what not. Maybe nothing will come of it, most likely not with Ukraine at least and maybe I’ll go “yeah I can’t do this” 5 minutes in and leave. But at least then I’ll know with certainty it’s not an option, I won’t have that “what if” guilt, I know I tried at least

And you never know, Maybe I find I can do it! hell maybe best case scenario by the time I’m ready to go over there war has been over for a long ass time!

But even if nothing comes of it or I don’t end up doing anything I’ll at least learn a few skills that might get helpful somewhere else & know I didn’t sit around doing nothing.

    13. BlasphemousTheElder on

You can be part of the army there or give your money for them to buy drones.

    14. Norion1977 on

      I feel the same.
We have aleeady choosen our side.
Why pretend that we are not part of this war?

I totaly understand that it would be diplomaticly difficult to send NATO troops to ukraine.

But why not at least recruite volunteers in every EU state?
Traine them, equip them and help them with all the paperwork to get to ukraine.

    15. European countries are not going to send their army/troops to defend Ukraine. All the rhetoric from the EU politicians about “were with you 100%” and “we won’t give up on you guys” are just lies.

You guys still buy Russian fossil fuels for gods sake. And you guys did everything in your power to turn this into a meat-grinder war. That’s great to piss off Russia, but Ukraine is like 10 times worse off because of it.

If i’m being honest, you guys aren’t even with them 50%.

    16. Demilitarization of not only Ukraine but also all of NATO? Guess Putin can agree to that one

    17. SnuleSnuSnu on

You can always join yourself, you know? Ukraine has manpower issue. If all of you from reddit joined, maybe the war would end sooner. But that requires some guts and not virtue signaling on reddit.

    18. SnoopyisCute on

I agree but the problem is the current president in the US works for Russia and he clearly stated many times that he will let Putin do whatever he wants.

In May 2017, he gave Russians classified documents that led to the torture and assassinations of several of our intelligence agents stationed around the world. Those documents have also been linked to the Hamas attacks.

Inside Russia, there are billboards of him with Putin and they broadcast FOX there. Putin has stated “the world has no borders” which doesn’t sound benevolent at all. Fiona Hill was Trump’s Russian advisor and she’s tried to warn Congress and the American people many times.

Unfortunately, just like the world witnessed on January 6, 2021, he does not care how many lies he has to tell or how many bodies he leaves in his wake to enrich himself. They are terminating top brass to ensure nobody can stand against this coup.

    19. Venerable_Elder on

Okay, this will be depressing to read.

NATO won’t station troops in Ukraine as long as there is a hot war going on. As unfortunate as it is, the collective West is crippling Russia for the next generations, if not forever, through the lives of Ukrainian people. Countries supply just enough arms to Ukraine to lock Russia in, while simultaneously giving themselves enough time to rearm themselves.

It is not fair, it is not just. These are cruel politics at play.
Once Russia loses, or a prolonged ceasefire is negotiated, peacekeeping troops will be deployed.

      It sucks.

    20. Zealousideal_Meet513 on

Did your friends told you how they were happy when drones fly towards Moscow?

It’s just plain “fuck around and find our”. And playing victim, of course
