I remember once having a history teacher who said that if you want to win a land war, send in 7th graders. They have no fear and can be easily manipulated into believing anything you tell them.
Not old enough to comprehend terrorism but old enough to be found guilty of terrorism. The world is so lost. This just seems like the kind of narrative designed to justify Palestinian kids getting bombed. Keep people scared enough to keep on voting for that isolationism and fear which keeps them voting for populists and fascists

Consequences of unmoderated and unfiltered access to information they may not fully comprehend. Children as young as 12 are on Reddit, consuming the same headlines and graphic footage from frontlines across the globe in real time as us, irrespective of who is right or wrong, irrespective of whether it’s part of information warfare, irrespective of the truth. Continuous exposure to emotionally intense, suffering content can have a profound impact on how young minds form their understanding of the world. We also need to do more to educate and to disseminate the information accessible in public spaces.
Religion has always conspired against the minds of children. This is not news.
We must protect the children from those vile children!
I propose we designate an island and ship every child there until the age of 18.
Scary times we’re living in. Let’s remember: education and understanding are our best weapons against fear and extremism
