Waste of the courts time, waste of journalists time, and now a waste of my time reading it. Legalise and move on with more important matters.

Whenever something comes up in relation to the courts and sentencing, I am reminded of this recent story.

the person in this case had €600 worth of cannabis, a job and wasn’t really a threat to anyone. Exactly the type of person the courts love to go after.

In the example I listed, the person had committed, multiple counts theft, assault, robbery et cetera. It appears that this person is a genuine threat to society. What happens to them, suspended sentence and a slap on the wrist.

Where is the guy who is proving to be no threat is lucky not to get a custodial sentence.

It’s absolutely bonkers.

‘Cannabis in bedroom’ sounds like the most pathetic reason in the world to have a person up in court. It’s laughable, absolute comedy at this stage
