      Strange wording: It sounds like Nord Stream will probably be put back into operation, but he will try very hard to ensure that this doesn’t happen

      I’m very confused about this, if Germany doesn’t want gas from the pipe, how could Germany be forced to take it there must be some kind of valve or tap on it?

      As a German that despises Merz for his populist rhetorics and his opportunistic power grab including insulting other politicians and their policies only to implement them himself after being elected – his international stance on Russia is surprisingly welcomed. However, so far we’ve only seen him talk big, we need him to actually act on his speech. He has the chance to be the most positively well remembered western politician of the 2020s by just standing by his word of supporting Ukraine and opposing Russia and Trump.

      Germany will do everything to prevent themselves from buying Russian gas? I mean just not buying it would do the trick i think. Also that other article about him saying how isreal crossed a line recently, like they didn’t do genocide for two years straight. This Merz guy seems really stupid.
