Gardai Arrest Man in Abbeyleix a seguito di “presunte minacce fatte online”

This is madness – a school in Abbeyleix sent out a message via Aladdin stating that they were restricting access and that everyone was safe – this is the kind of stuff you read about over in the State but never here. frightening stuff

I don’t know why it says alleged threats when his tiktok was pretty clear with what he wanted to do

This is insane – this guy had been loitering around Clondalkin/Tallaght the past few weeks. I have a puppy at the minute so am constantly out for walks trying to keep her entertained, this guy went out of his way to walk in front of my puppy, stopped and stared at me about two inches from my face and says nothing – I yank the puppy up in my arms and pretty much leg it back home. I’d say I walked by him 4/5 times a day for two weeks straight – every time the same thing, he’d stop walking, stand there and stare. What was really telling was the one time I was out with my brother he walks out onto the road to avoid us – he was absolutely just getting off on scaring a 5 foot nothing woman.

Had been onto the guards only two weeks ago – he genuinely seemed like someone with serious issues and was obviously acting in a threatening way, but was essentially told there was nothing they could do as he technically hadn’t done anything but ‘they knew of him’. Apparently he was ran out of the area during the weekend after being released by the garda in Tallaght – somehow ended up in Abbeyleix and I guess he’s arrested again. Hopefully, they’ll take the reports seriously now….
