We can do a whip around for the first collection in mass.

Crowd sourcing will fix it? Because income tax collected is being efficiently utilised.

I’d say even that’s on the conservative side considering challenges around energy, water and waste, healthcare and air travel – all of which are massively expensive and are largely unseen compared to the gaping holes in things like housing, active transport and public transport.
Dublin hasn’t had much investment at all. The last large housing projects were developed inside the city in the 1970s and outside the city in the late 90s and early 00s. The last significant rail investment was in the early 80s.
Dublin could well require constant 11 figure exchequer investment to bring it up to the standard it should be in. For all the money Dublin makes for the country, it can’t seem to hold a penny of it.

Everyone in the country just needs to chip in a few thousand extra and we’ll be set.

If it’s like any other development scheme then it’ll run 1000% over cost and be delayed 15 years. We need a tribunal, not more cash for these pigs.

€70 billion needed, don’t forget the €180 billion for consultants and other miscellaneous purposes
