Ciao a tutti, dopo essere arrivato di recente in Germania stavo cercando un provider Internet e ho scelto Telekom per la sua reputazione di affidabilità, dopo aver inserito il mio indirizzo solo il servizio DSL era disponibile e ho prenotato un’installazione per 12/6.
Oggi, mentre stavo immaginando dove sarebbe rimasto il router, ho notato che non c’era alcuna presa elettrica dalla connessione DSL, il più vicino è di 1 metro sul muro avversario.
Ho un’altra presa, nel soggiorno che è per cavo (credo), ma Telekom fornisce solo DSL.
Sarà necessaria una spina per alimentare il router, giusto? Quale sarebbe la tua raccomandazione, rilascia Telekom e optare per una connessione via cavo o c’è qualcosa che mi manca nel DSL?

Get a looooong TAE-Cable (phone line) and place the router close to a power socket.
The phone socket seems to be in the hallway. If you don’t want your router there, then get a long phone cable and put your router in the room where the door on the left is leading to.
If you want the router in the hallway, bring a power cable to the hallway through the same door
DSL is ancient and 12Mbit is really not much to work with. In my area, Telekom could only do slow DSL but I have Vodafone 1gbps cable connection for less than Telekom wanted for DSL. I would strongly encourage you to consider cable over DSL.
