Now that would be a hilarious backfire

He’s going to ignore the courts, just like every other time something like this gets posted.

Well the French have already stated they’re good with 10% tariff on products, so i suggest they keep paying them.

I just love it! Especially considering that the weak UK had prematurely signed an agreement on those 10% taxes and other smaller issues. They are to pay now, while the rest of the world can prepare and await further developments.
If they hadn`t left the EU they wouldn`t be in this vulnerable position. Will PM Starmer learn from that? I doubt it…

EU should stop all negotiations immediatly.
Wait for the final court decision before making any “deal” with Trump.

Since this is America, Walmart and other companies that raised prices 10%, because of the tariffs, will now roll them back 3 to 5%.

What will happen now? An online rant about “activist judges who should be locked up”.
Otherwise, the industry specific tariffs remain in place. Only the blanket tariffs are being discussed. It will also cause uncertainty on the market and some people will earn a lot of money from this, no matter the final outcome. But it’s too early to tell if this verdict will be upheld. Under normal circumstances it would, but these aren’t normal times anymore. SCOTUS is so stacked with Trump enablers it’s probable they will side with him.
Also, Keir Starmer will have a few bad days.

Trump has a temper tantrum on Twitter and “Truth Social” about this, he’ll blame Biden and then he’ll sack people on the court and put his own minions on the Trade Court.

Trump stalls and ignores the court and then nothing because who is left to arrest Trump?

I won’t forget about or forgive any of the Americans who voted for Trump and cheered for these tariffs, regardless of whether they go away. The boycott stays. Republicans in Congress always had the power to stop these tariffs anyway, and they did nothing.

My guess?
Since the GOP controls both houses they will pass a law that grants the President the authority to put in place unilateral tariffs that expires at the end of Trumps term.
