Google seems to have been having problems recently wrongly marking roads as closed, but on this scale it’s very unusual. The data Google uses comes from multiple sources including user input, so whether this is a bug, an elaborate prank, or a malicious attack of some kind… well, at the moment your guess is as good as mine.
