Ho appena ottenuto un nuovo appartamento e prima stavo usando quello fornito dalla mia azienda, quindi non avevo un fornitore da solo. Ora sto cercando di ottenere un vero fornitore e ho ricevuto questo messaggio sul sito. Mi sposterò il 01.06.2025, ma mi permetterà solo di ottenere il contratto a partire dal 15.06.2025. Qualcuno potrebbe gentilmente aiutarmi in questo?

You have a supplier, there is always a basic supply, but it is often the case that this is more expensive.
There is a recent change in the law that you have to register with a supplier 14 days in advance (and also deregister if you move out). Hence the note at the top.
So it may cost a few euros more for the 14 days, but it will be limited.
You will never be out of power, as the Grundversorger, usually a local power company at least partly owned by the city, will always provide power.
Until the day your new contract with another company comes into effect they will keep supplying you with power and bill you separately for whatever was used in the meantime. Most of the time the Grundversorger’s rates are just a few cents above the rate you will get from the other company later on, so it’s not a big deal financially.
The handover between the Grundversorger and your new provider will be handled in the background. All you need to do is to put the earliest possible date in that field as indicated.
