No, killing children is not per se a war crime.

It can be, but in itself it is not.

It is quite tragic what is happening in the region. Yet it does not mean the fundamental right and capacity to defend one‘s sovereign interests by military means against a military threat can be overridden.

The risk of escalation and retaliation lies with the attacker.

Also, this has no ties to Austria, so I believe it violates the rules of this sub.

Der Krieg kann heute enden wenn die Täter vom 07. Oktober einfach aufhören zu kämpfen und die Geiseln freilassen

These people should abide by the rule of law. Using civilian sites such as schools and hospitals for military purposes, storing military assets among civilians and then complaining when the party that has the casus belli in this war actually hits them is a morally fraudulent argument. Palestinians try to use civilians as a cover for their military assets. This doesn’t grant them immunity. Given that Palestinians use indiscriminate attacks on israeli as a basic strategy, such complaints are biggoted. Did the guy in this video ever condemn the attacks of October the 7th 2023 or the civilian deaths of the Intifada? Apparently not and this shows how these extremists will gladly kill non-muslims but bitch about any muslim killed in a war they started.
