      You are desperately trying to make this local problem worlds problem. Thankfully Europeans are not that blind to give war profiteers power.

      Lithuania would isolate the rest of the baltics so there’s the motivation for going for Lithuania first as it would also connect kaliningrad to Belarus (aka Russia basically).

      Yea this ain’t surprising. They need Lithuania for many reasons, for example to better isolate rest of Baltics and Finland from mainland Europe and to easier access to Kaliningrad. It’s also in their bucketlist[*](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics) although they haven’t really set them in numerical order but makes sense in this order.

      “Plans” doesn’t mean they will.

      Russia is not stupid enough to start a war against NATO. Even if we exclude USA from the war, they would still have no chance to win.

      No he is not, it being a NATO country only Indcates that such information is likely a distraction.

      You say this and if NATO taes it seriously  and it moves it’s fire power there, that leaves another spot more vulnerable.
