The duty free area was full of U.S. troops on a stop-over, presumably bound for Iraq.
Kids they were, fresh faced fucking kids. Wouldn’t think there was one of them over 20.
Scary images that always comes to mind whenever I see military planes in Shannon mentioned.
They all refuel. What is that worth to Shannon?
Shannon airport is the first stop after the US to refuel and get a break outside the plane, naturally they will stop here, also if something ever went badly wrong especially with Russia realistically we would need US and EU help so I see no issue at all with US military planes landing here, many are just troop transports anyway and going to other European countries
No problem with this as long as the yanks spend a bit of money in the duty free while there.
