Viviamo in un quartiere Adulty-Adults ed è necessario falciare il prato. Personalmente ci piace il nostro prato più naturale, abbiamo una grande varietà di erbe e piante che crescono lì e gli uccelli lo adorano, perché più insetti da catturare. Così ho deciso di falciare il prato tutt’intorno e non nel mezzo. Penso che i vicini lo odiano. Quali sono i tuoi pensieri?

I like the idea and what your neighbors think about it is frankly irrelevant. If you have your own garden you can do with it as you like.
Is it allowed? Probably not. The attorneys will have a fun time figuring out what “mowing the lawn” means. Costly for both sides.
Maybe you can put a sign that you care for birds and that s why is like that. It looks like unfinished work to people in your neighborhood.
Love it! I normally mow a patch to lay on but for the rest I just keep the flowers. I only mow it at the end of the summer.

Normally it is only required to keep it clean. So in my case I only do it 2 or 3 times a year. End of April, End of May and end of August most of the time. Of course the old people don’t like it, but I am on top of that.
A good tip: I ordered a “This is a happy bee place and I keep it natural”-sign for 5€ on Amazon and placed it in the middle of my lawn. If there is only one rule in Germany for older people it is “Bees are holy”. Never say something against bees… You are bad if you don’t like bees. A little bit sarcastic of course, but nobody tried to complain after placing that sign anymore.
Set up a sign with ‘Wildblumenwiese’ and stop mowing.

basically saying that you can do whatever you like, and decide for yourself how often you mow the lawn, and turning it into an eco garden is allowed, too. If they want anything specific, they have to lay it out in the contract.
