We’re in a second cold war and the SNP blocks funding for the defence industry —what is this madness‽ Do they want us at the mercy of Russia‽
Reading the article, this is even more irresponsible that it sounds.
SNP – A party that has at some point been against: NATO, UK nuclear power, UK nuclear deterrent, UK oil/gas and has had a prominent leader hired by a Russian propaganda network

It’s literally foreign sabotage at this point. The fact it’s costing Scottish jobs is just the cherry on top…
Is this a case of we’d rather you have no job than a British job, or the SNP carrying their anti-defence stance into this pacifist-friendly year?
If they could the SNP would happily destroy the entirety of the UK’s national defence because it would mean they could improve their chances of independence. In their eyes an impoverished, defenceless Scotland is better than the status quo as long as it’s independent.
Wouldn’t this be the time the UK government stepped in and told the Scottish government to stop playing playground politics and to fucking fund this?

Free Scotland from the tyranny of the SNP. They have been held hostage by them for far too long
If this is so important, why doesn’t the U.K. Gov or Rolls Royce themselves come up with the £2.5m? Seems silly to scrap such a project over a relatively small amount of money.
Typical SNP, they’ll spin this as a Westminster failure at the cost of jobs in Scotland all while raising taxes on hard working people to fund their vanity projects.
The worst thing is people seem brainwashed into believing the SNP are good for Scotland
