      >But new Government figures – which have yet to be refuted by the far-right party – show that just £27 million was actually spent

      That’s still worth saving.

    2. Lammtarra95 on

Of course they don’t exist. So what?

Reform is “none of the above”. Reform is that after decades of Tory and Labour rule, the country has gone to the dogs and no-one can get a job, house or doctor’s appointment, so why not give this new party a whirl? It can’t do any worse than the last lot.

      Spoiler: it can.

    3. Defiant_Ad_2762 on

Well what do you know. Reform massively exaggerating a perceived problem with DEI. Trumpism in action.

    4. Savage-September on

Do you know how much Seven Billion Pounds is £7,000,000,000. That’s a 7 with 9 zeros behind it. And they say that’s being spent on DEI.

These guys get away with saying anything they like to the media and go unchallenged. If this was labour or libdems they would never have let it go. They still bring up Diane Abbotts police costs all muddled up.

    5. SixRoundsTilDeath on

I’m not shocked to find out Nige is pulling numbers out of thin air. The modern right wing strategy is just to chat so much shit the average person doesn’t have time to look it all up (for the record, the modern left wing strategy is to try to win right wing voters and fail, just to give you a balanced take).

Up the independents at this point. Least we might get someone new to ruin the country. I’ve seen enough of him for a lifetime.

    6. YellowBelliedCoward on

Of course they don’t. It’s just another MAGA thing he’s trying to inflict on British political discourse. I’m not sure what’s worse, the lies or the laziness.

    7. EntropicMortal on

Same as Elon with his DEI bullshit.

They just did it to get data on every citizen in the US.

    8. Sad_Proposal2901 on

The c**t can’t even come up with his own ideas. Just copies whatever Trump does, whether it makes sense in the UK or not.

No doubt he will be PM in 4 years. People are getting dumber and many will vote for Reform just as a protest vote.

    9. player_zero_ on

Grifter saying he’ll give voters what they want, just to get into power to pilfer.

    10. It’s funny how the 3 things that the right wing dislike the most: EDI, Net Zero and immigration just so happen to magically add up to the right amount that axing them would balance the budget and allow jobs and tax cuts for everyone!

It works brilliantly until you check literally any of the numbers…

    11. Ok-Ambassador4679 on

Shocker. A liar who gets what he wants by lying doubles down on lying to get what he wants.

    12. SongOTheGolgiBoatmen on

Well yeah, they don’t actually matter. It’s just what they say because they don’t feel confident enough to say “we want to crack the skulls of the poufs, the trannies and everyone darker than a mahogany tree” – yet.

    13. Dull_Leading8432 on

I feel like £7 billion is absolutely plausible given the amount of money laundering that goes on through grants and overpaying for services

Im much more interested in how much money is wasted by paying 10’s to 100’s of thousands of pounds to fill a couple of potholes and put up signs

Has to be £10 billion + annually

    14. Both-Mud-4362 on

Shock horror! A bigot lier, lied!!! How could he?!? There is no point trusting a single word out of that neo nazi, snake oil salesmen.

    15. grrrranm on

DEI is definitely the smallest out of the problems but it’s definitely an issue

Net zero, migrant hotels, welfare for non UK citizens, bloated civil service all these could be used to reduced government expenditure & its in the £billions

    16. TtotheC81 on

He’s following the Trump playbook of throwing ideas at the wall and see what sticks. He’s never going to follow through with them. All he wants to do is get into power and enable the elites to ransack the country at an even faster rate.

    17. Illustrious_Peach494 on

£350mln per week for the NHS…yet voters will still for the same of shell game?

    18. WinningTheSpaceRace on

The next thing you’ll tell us is that numbers on the side of buses are exaggerated and out of context.

    19. Fenton-227 on

Who would’ve thought, Nigel Farage telling lies and making gross over-exagerrations?!

    20. merryman1 on

      Well yes no shit.

The fundamental problem is that the people voting for Farage will never read this. And then when Farage wins, does what he promises, and it fixes nothing for all of these reasons, these same people will claim the real problem is no one ever told them.

Because fundamentally they are being told, right here and now, but they just don’t want to see or hear anything that doesn’t fit into their little narrative of pre-conceived notions.

    21. prismstein on

watch as the public fall for his lies again, just like Brexit

    22. maxhaton on

Making this about money is quite silly anyway. DEI should be abolished because it’s insane and will eventually destroy our culture, I would _spend_ money to avoid that.

    23. hammer_of_grabthar on

They seem to have made an article out of just typing up the Lewis Goodall show

    24. untitled__1 on

It won’t make a dent to their approval ratings. Many Reform supporters care little for facts or evidence.

    25. Dando_Calrisian on

No shit. It’s like a UK version of the DOGE. We definitely do not need that

    26. Dude’s gonna start painting himself orange next, you watch…

    27. MrsDoylesTeabags on

Does anyone still believe a word that comes out of that man’s mouth?

    28. LargePlums on

Just to put that made up number in perspective, that would be about half the size of the whole of British agriculture.

      I don’t think so.

    29. richray84 on

All this talk of “DEI” (which is actually EDI in the UK) and how bad it is…EDI initiatives cover all kinds of accessibility and other situations. Making reasonable adjustments so that people with disabilities are able to work, they’re treated fairly when it comes to promotions etc. That also covers someone who’s in a role and suffers an accident that has a significant impact, losing a limb, sight or hearing for example. Ensuring a company makes reasonable adjustments to help you keep working. If you have a child and take parental leave, you aren’t to be discriminated against.

It’s not ‘just’ about race/religion/sexuality as it’s seems to be being politicised for.

    30. Message-To-Fuck-UK on

It’s almost like he lies about everything, who would’ve thought?

    31. Pocketfulofgeek on

And yet I still feel like all he has to do in order to become PM in the next general election is literally just “don’t die” and he’ll just swan into number 10 and start gutting this country.

    32. HolbrookPark on

Next your gonna tell me £350million wasn’t going to the EU every week and isn’t going to the NHS now
