Can’t believe some Europeans are looking across the Atlantic and saying “yes some of that please”.
You’ll get what you voted for.

How did the overseas Poles vote?
Wonderful-Basis-1370 on
I know I’ll get cancelled for saying this, but Poland doesn’t really have enough power to assert any real dominance or influence in Europe. When it comes to foreign policy, there’s no chance Poland would choose someone pro-Russian, so it’s up to the Polish people to decide how they want to govern their internal affairs. I don’t see why Reddit treats this like a tragedy.
Yes, it would’ve been better if a pro-European candidate had won the election, but it’s not all that important.

It’s crazy nail biting to watch elections in EU countries ever since Trump got reelected starting from Romanian elections.
It’s so stressful to me because we’re entering multipolar world by the end of the decade, so it’s even more important for EU countries to stand resilient in shifting global order, populist goverments paralyzing EU is the biggest danger we face in next 5-10 years.

Based on the map from first round, it would seem that most of the parts where Rafal won have not been counted yet. Could that change anything?

Why’re people downvoting? I can’t like Poland in the Europe sub?

I mean, it’s bad if PiS wins, but it’s not the end of the world though, it will be as it is now. Hope Trazskowski wins

This is yet another reminder that the current form of democracy doesn’t work because “social media + illiterates” is a terrible combination.

Aw Poland had been doing so well too.
Now the right wing will fuck it up until the left come in and clean the mess up, only for it to happen again.

At this point, what is the point of Polymarket? Like, yeah, a lot of people are starting to bet on a canddiate wiining, once the polls have already come in showing them in the lead. Ok? We already had the polls, thanks.

Great news for the future of Europe. The polymarket trend just shows how sentimental bias works.
