      Cool graphic, thanks for sharing.

Looks like just slightly more blue in western Poland.

    2. 51.16 vs 48.84 at 97.61% votes counted.

Can the not-nazi candidate actually still win or is it mathematically impossible already?

Putin tricked people into voting for a puppet state. Again.

Election maps tell you so much about a country.

and then fire nation took snus on gum, and asked “Do you wanna fight, punk?”

At least the city I’ll be spending two weeks in in July voted for the pro-EU candidate—Płock.

An interesting map. I just would have liked a bit more color contrast within the electoral districts to make the differences easier to see. Still interesting.

We’ve beaten our own version of Nawrocki in Romania—only worse and more pro-Russian, with evidence linking him to meetings with Russian spies in Moldova. He was even more extreme: violent both in Parliament and on the streets, and he avoided many debates out of fear. He spent around 1.5 million euros on U.S. lobbying, where he badmouthed our country. He even called his opponent an ‘autistic loser.’ We dodged a bullet—over 800,000 people voted against him. Hopefully, yours is better than ours

      Half Prusia, half Russia

In this campaign I very much ‘liked’ from an intelectual point of view, the candidacy of Grzegorz Braun. It was totally Russian nationalist ideology but translated into polish nationalism.

It helped me learn about the slavic form of nationalism that pan-slavism promoted 150 years ago and is still in the subconscious polish mind

Just a guess, does the personal income map look like this too?

Poland’s problem: They don’t have Hungarian minority.

    13. Wasn’t this expected? One of the candidates lost the last election. I don’t understand why he is a candidate again. As an outside observer, I predicted this result. People don’t suddenly start liking someone.”
