Where’s the sword hanging by a horse hair?

I was so excited to visit Knossos but it was such a disappointment. Half of the stuff there is fake, made up by Arthur Evans, including a lot of the paint, and various designs and structures.

Instead of walking around marvelling at the history, I spent the whole time staring at stuff trying to figure out if it was real or not.

For the record, this throne room in the photo is a ‘reconstruction’ based only on Arthur Evans’ imagination and some scraps of rubble.
