Scaremongering is working wonders for this guy business. We do live in uncertain times and of course this could happen but I think it’s more to do with good climate to make money on fear. Are they really preparing? The last time I checked, Europe was not able to produce basic medicament by itself anymore because the necessary chemical industry is in China now.

The Telegraph’s source is a former Army Tank commander who has made a somewhat imaginative leap into private intel and security company called Sibylline.

There are quite a few of these little consultancies, usually set up by retired services people who claim to have ‘inside contacts’. Best taken with a pinch of salt, unless you’re a headline writer for the Telegraph.
