There is a time of year called the winter, when the temperatures get quite cold. Two windows and the air in between work very well for insulation.

The air in the middle creates insulation, together with heaters create a cozy house while outside is -20°
It starts in November and ends in May. Winter.
Good insulation. Easier to make than double glazing. Where are you from?
