If police officers were sacked everytime one of them swore whilst pumped full of adrenaline in the middle of an arrest there wouldn’t be any police officers left.

There’s a massive difference between randomly calling a bystander a cunt and shouting “show me your fucking hands” when dealing with someone who has just violently assaulted someone and is suspected of carrying a knife.

When I was in the police I had to take down a violent shoplifter who was threatening to stab me with a used syringe.

Whilst I was wrestling with him I shouted such things as “drop the fucking syringe” and “dont fucking stab me you cunt”.

I guess according to Dorset Constabulary I should have immediately lost my job.

      Lol.
This is nothing, especially for someone wielding a knife.
I was expecting a WWE grand slam. I am sorely disappointed.

That didn’t look as bad as I thought it was going to. Ultimately it seems like a lot of the officers behaviour here is dictated by the suspects behaviour.

      > Last week, a misconduct panel found that PC Castle made the boy feel “frightened and intimidated” and showed him a “lack of courtesy and respect.”

I don’t really think the suspect feeling frightened here is the problem. You have a suspect with a knife who has assaulted people, I’m sure their victims were frightened and intimidated.

You shouldn’t go around committing violent crime and then absolutely shit yourself when police tackle you. The suspect was hysterical screaming “I don’t want you on me” instead of doing the actions that would have gotten the officer off of them.

Is the officers language too much? Maybe? But it’s very clear commands that are not being listened to.

I reckon the majority of people will think that video is how the police should behave a lot more often.
