    1. About bloody time. I’m surprised we put up with them undermining our borders for so long.

Oh the benefits of having a Euro positive government.

That’s good because I could’ve sworn we paid them £500m to do just that already

I don’t know why people are so surprised.  Weirdly the French don’t want to deal with the problem and it’s much easier to make it our problem.  If the roles were reversed people here would be saying “nah mate not our problem, let the frogs sort it out”

RW press is losing things to moan about by the day.

Unless they begin just making shit up again, of course.

    6. >Until now, the French have refused to intervene in the water because they claim maritime laws prevent them from taking action that could put lives at sea at risk.

Just do what the RNLI has been doing for years: get them out of the water. But, instead of taxiing them to the UK, take them back to France.

Sorry, Telegraph, do you mean to say that the Labour government has convinced France to intercept migrant boats?

Can’t wait to see all the Facebook profiles with reform plc flags as their display pic acknowledging this as a positive step…

Shouldn’t the British Navy be doing this? Can’t they just spray a line of 50-cal towards any boats to deter them?

      Ahahaha “finally”?

So what did we pay them for before? A batch of baguettes?

      Oh man…that’s so rich!

Yea right, they don’t want them stuck in France and the easiest way to do that is do a shit job?
