The Apple money coming through is why Cork’s receipts were so high.

Re income tax is that employees resident in Dublin or who have employers whose main office is resident in Dublin?

It doesn’t seem to specify unless I missed it

      > “The Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) has published a new “interactive dashboard” that provides a more detailed breakdown – by economic sector and county – of the Irish tax base.”

Can somebody find the link to this dashboard?

Receipts by county is a bad measure. Would love receipts by eircode and receipts by small area, with slicers for tax heads.

So like America NY & LA pay most of the tax and the politicians representing the rural folk push through dumb policy.

    7. And yet the myth persists from people in rural Ireland that they are somehow short changed on infrastructure spending.

Half of the bloody country lives in the greater Dublin area. What, next time we pretend to be surprised that the water is wet? How is this real news?

Dublin contributing more than what it should. Lets only pay 1/26th next year and spend the surplus on Dublin exclusive projects, services etc.
