In actual fact Russia deliberately provoked the war, the Georgian government just took the bait. It seems clear Russia prepared a trap for Georgia in 2008.
It’s incredible how russian propaganda works. Even the Polish party just happens to align with what Russia wants, lol.

It’s been known since the Heidi Commission. When the results showed that Georgia provoked the war, they tried to discredit it. Putin is not a good guy but it doesn’t mean he’s the only one who is bad
The sad part about this is that despite all the protests by Georgians throughout months bear no fruit. Georgians took up to the streets daily, shooting fireworks but the government, if you can call such a shit party so, gives zero fucks. It’s like they’re immovable. How they think they’d benefit making Georgia succumb to Russia?
The same problem in Belarus, Serbia, Turkey, etc. The governments simply don’t care.
