      With a first past the post system you will always end up with two parties. Doesn’t matter what they are. And then in time those parties will come to cater to roughly equal parts of the population, because they need to beat the other party.

      It’s just math, and a new party won’t change that.

      The focus should not be on forming a new party; instead, the United States needs a better voting system that accommodates more than two parties.

      lol… interesting notion, that you actually CAN have a somewhat consistent party in a deeply split society that is multi modal…. i.e that there IS a middle 80% in the first place to integrate the people policy wise…

      If he wanted to save Tesla stocks he could hive most of his cash to the green party in the US and green parties in Europe 😉
      … if they were to even take his money, considering they might lose credibility.

      Voters segmentation. They’re creating a fake alternative to catch votes from those who don’t support Trump anymore and would be tempted to vote dem. Once they collect votes they go back together through a coalition and voters are screwed. This is a known technique that happens in multi party systems.
