Isn’t this like with TB where the issue is within specific groups – which of course puts us all at risk?

Don’t make it mandatory. Make it insurance based. You have a choice about vaccinations, but the NHS shouldn’t pick up the pieces.

You know why we are having issues with people and vaccines
It’s because not 3 years ago we had a vaccine forced on us
So people now are stepping back from them
Of course that wasn’t the start, the stupid vaccines cause autism was the start and stupid online people
Although forced COVID vaccine is also part of the issue

this vaccine has been around for a long time, there is no excuse for this one.

Is the American antivacc brainrot spreading here? Woe on us

The perfect storm is brewing for germs in the UK:
– Anti-vaxxers not vaccinating themselves or their children
– Immigrants coming from third world countries who are unvaccinated and bringing diseases which were eradicated in the UK until now.
– Couple that with high amounts of antibiotic use, so much so its detectable in our rivers, waterways and some foods.

I had the measles when I was a kid. I’m fine, because I was vaccinated.

I work in healthcare and Measles is terrifying. One woman I support is non-verbal, requires lifting and handling to move (hoists) and is PEG fed through her belly. All because she caught Measles and it went to her brain.

I am always reminded of the tales from the ICU where unvaccinated COVID patients begged for the vaccine as they were dying. People might not want to get the vaccine themselves or for their kids now, they will change their mind should they ever get measles though. People have forgotten how bad measles is all thanks to vaccines, which has made people complacent. Conspiracy theorists and granola mums are not helping but some people will avoid vaccinations thinking the NHS will just be able to help them. The NHS will do its best but kids can die from measles and adults will not have a fun time themselves. That is why vaccinations are so important.

Make these mandatory. If a parent refuses then involve social services and send mom and dad to prison for endangering a child.
