Apparently the lesson drawn is to double down on Indyref 2 and make it front and centre of the campaign. I suspect it may not work as intended I await the results with some interest.

How anyone can use the phrase “learn the lesson” without feeling like a berk is beyond me. Stock standard meaningless phrase when you don’t have anything to say.
Under SNP, Hamilton went from one of the best shopping towns in Scotland, to becoming an empty horrible town centre. Every single shop in its front, closed. Historical shops, gone. Everyone goes to surrounding towns for shopping.
