European and US combined efforts were barely enough to sustain Ukraine so far. They never had an abundance of ammo, anti-air defense or heavy armor. Now half of the assistence will be cut by Trump and Russia keeps ramping up their production of drones, missiles and recruitment of troops. So this is delusional levels of hopium.
Europe is capable of doing it in a physical/material sense. But the political will to spend the required resources is absolutely not there. Otherwise the German industry would already be cranking out 1000 shahed drone equivalents per day and shipping them to Ukraine.
Under current conditions Ukraine will be forced to sign a terrible peace deal. And while Trump can and should be blamed for his part the biggest culprits will be us Eurpeans who failed to defeat Russia in our own backyard.
That’s reassuring to hear.
If the US forbids transferring their tech to Ukraine, this will be impossible.
And since Trump is heavily leaning to support Russia, it’s a very real possibility.

Get the fucking factories working 150 % damn it! We need to get ukraine all the stuff the need and crush the russian terror state economy with direct and effective sanctions
My understanding is that US intelligence would be hardest to replace. And of course sanctions will not hold unless the US is still willing to exert pressure on 3rd party countries.
