It looks like a ponzi scheme. The first issue alone is that Cigánek has registered under our trade law a collective – Naše Finančné družstvo, which while it is allowed, it has little bit different set of rulles and goals when it comes to its aplicability. In order to handle the capital assets you are by law required to gain a license from National Bank. The subordinate private bussines of Naše Finančné družstvo, NFD Payment Institution, a.s. (NFD, a.s. according to trade registry); has gained for some reason a license from National bank of SR. This license allowed to NFD to operate as an official capital assets handling bussines. However NFD is being for second time in bankrupcy proceeding. In the last year some creditors set a motion for bankrupcy proceeding against NFD. On top of that OG collective Naše Finančné družstvo is suffering from internal fights for control as Cigánek is no more a head of that company. The bankrupcy proceedings against NFD Payment has been currently suspended, as court picked instead debt restructuralization proceeding. Court asigned baillif for debt restruturalization, who is supposed to prepare restructuralization plan for said private company.
According to Bankrupcy registry, Naše Družstvo has 10 millions worth of outstanding assets and another 35k of protected outstanding assets while has no holdings of its own. On top of that, Cigánek and his family has probably at least 400k € of outstanding assets registrered in that bankrupcy proceeding. Also he created a new collective called “Tradičné družstvo”, which has in that very same banrupcy proceeding against Naše finančné družstvo registered its outstanding assets worth at least 3.5 millions €. Also also according to Trade registry, there is currently no one in statutory body in NFD, a.s., which alone should be a reason for expungement of that company out of trade registry according to law.
