If you *are* going to smuggle drugs internationally, is this the optimal combination of drug / transportation? Not an expert but I’d suggest not

There’s been a spate of these reported lately on the thai sub, usually young female tourists trying to smuggle 20/30 kgs to various destinations. the quantities seem like they will inevitably attract attention. maybe even that the thai authorities are tipping off the destination airport..
I’m not an expert in drug smuggling by any means – enthusiastic amateur at best. – but is taking suitcases of it through an airport the worst worst worst possible technique? Literally sniffer dogs everywhere, hundreds of border staff etc?
Oof hope they got caught here because drug smuggling carries a mandatory death sentence in Thailand

I’m not a weed expert but that sounds like a lot just by weight. How’d they stash it?
It could be worse, they could have been caught in Thailand.
We produce so much domestically that we export the stuff. They’re the definition of shit for brains.
At the price I pay for weed, a million pounds worth is about 178 kilos. That is a serious truckload
