You’re doing your very best to undermine NATO and EU strength, Putin puppet.

We are under attack both from outside and within.

    2. Take Orban at his word. He’s known for his truthfulness! /s

“No reason to worry about Russian buildup around the Baltic nations. They’re weak. We should pay no attention to it.” – Russian Puppet

    4. kraeutrpolizei on

Well they are too weak to beat Ukraine yet still bomb their civilians

    5. Tailor-DKS on

If russia is weak, hungary is even weaker thanks to Orban.

Putin doesnt need to attack Hungary as long as they do whatever Putin wants.

    6. TheJiral on

So their is nothing new in Western directed Russian propaganda. Good to hear it from first hand.

    7. This is motivated by the rise of Tisza. He wants to steal their votes come the 2026 election.

There are questions on whether that election will be free, not just fair, but this is his core motivation.

    8. can_ichange_it_later on

He is still working on breaking and throwing sand into our alliances, like the good little boi he is.

    9. I think he is right, logically speaking.

Russian profflessional elite forces are fertilising the sunflower fields in Ukraine.

Russian latest gen high tech millitary harware are being recycled as scrap metal in Ukrainian furnaces.

The bulk of remaining Russian forces are bogged down in the Donbass to the point where Putin had to let go of his allies ( Armenia, Syria,) as he could not afford sending troops there.

They only achieved in in 3 years 20 percent of what they were meant to achieve in 3 days SMO.

Safe to say there is no way Russia will be in a position where they can seriously threaten NATO or the EU.

Even if they tried, it would almost certainly only last 3 days but not in the way Putin has in mind 😅

      Russia can attack NATO.

Russia attacked Ukraine, got screwed but didn’t stop.

Each of Baltic states have less population than Kyiv.

Given the uncertainty within NATO, an (un)successful attempt of occupation is not that unfeasible.

    11. fingertipoffun on

Yeah Putin has just been practicing with Ukraine for the bigger NATO assault. I mean 1m troops toasted is just a speck of dirt for one as powerful as Putin.

    12. I remember that not long ago he said that Russia is too big and strong and impossible to win against so Europe must let go of Ukraine.

Mr. Orban, do I understand correctly that this change of heart mean that now is the time to increase the support for Ukraine and winning against Russia is possible? 🙂

    13. Valuable_Issue_6698 on

Theyre too weak because of foreign military support to Ukraine, which Orban opposes 🤡🤡

    14. Few_Afternoon_6618 on

ah! i see it must be opposite day! Orban is a fine figure of a man who never fscked a sheep or had his tounge in Putins posterior.

Russia’s true weakness is not in its materiel capabilities, even though these have been questioned and proven to suffer from neglect. Its weakness is in its chain of command and its commander’s reticence to question the decisions of its commander in chief.

And because of this, the CIC falls back on, “We have Nukes.”

It’s a potent threat but one that is unlikely to be deployed given that this would probably be the one instance when NATO would respond in kind.

Some NATO members would need US permission to use their arsenals as they are US assets that just happen to be stationed on their soil but two nations have their own independent stocks.

Between them, they have enough firepower to inflict such a high level of damage that a nuke exchange is not something anyone, even Vlad the Invader would want to get into…you can be assured the Chinese would watch such and exchange with glee…the rebuilding project would be even greater than the aftermath of the Second World War…The Marshall Plan, framed as aid, (you can read up on the detail) essentially created a boom in US economic prosperity, manufacturing and exports.

So, yes, to a certain extent they are in a position of weakness. However, the continued implied support from the WH is a mighty weapon as it has a veto in both NATO and the National Security Council. With DJT, there’s no telling where the apple will fall.

    16. ThatOneGuyOnReddit_ on

Strictly speaking he’s right, Russia wouldn’t win an all out war on the Baltics and Europe, even if american support falters (another reason why Russia wants its neighbouring countries to leave NATO), but it’s not like the realistic capabilities of their army stopped them from invading Ukraine.

    17. When saying this, Orban makes me think about the yorshire barking at the dobberman…

    18. Past-Cheesecake-7918 on

it is to some extend true. russia is much weaker than europe – we simply need a more unified military and a shared nuclear deterrent, which should be expanded by a lot. icbms included. also, we need a ukraine that is strong, independent and armed to the teeth. that will burden russia with an area that will have to be guarded permanently with a lot.

    19. rtels2023 on

Russia is weak so you shouldn’t take them seriously, but they’re also inevitably going to win in Ukraine so you should just capitulate to them now. Something doesn’t add up here.

    20. thissomeotherplace on

Then why does Comrade Orban side with Russia and Putin?

    21. LazyZeus on

Russia weak! Orban strong! Orban very strong!
Oh no, 90 y.o. Jewish man is attacking Orban by paying for journalism and transparency! Please someone help!

    22. Kitchen_Victory_6088 on

Yup, that’s vatnik for EU should ramp up arms production.

    23. If they are weak, why does he continue to suck them? For fun?

    24. “Russia is weak and cannot fight NATO so let’s start trading with them again and remove sanctions because Hungarys and Russias economy is hurting. Who cares what happens to Ukraine – they survived as a nation so far anyway.”

      Translated for you.

Let’s not pretend this is a backstab on Russia, it’s self-serving and if it was to happen then Putin would be ecstatic.

Meanwhile it is true that Russia wouldn’t win a war against NATO, lots and lots of people would die or be maimed and the destruction on our continent would be enormous.

As long as Russia is ill-intent there should be no policy changes.

    25. nghiemnguyen415 on

Russia can’t even fend off attacks from Ukraine, what makes it thinking it could stand a chance against NATO? Ukraine is just a demonstration of a half ass attempt of swatting a fly for a neighbor. What do you think the allied nations would do if said fly entered their own homes.

    26. SparkyFrog on

Russia was pretty weak when they attacked Ukraine too. If they were rational actors they wouldn’t have attacked.

    27. Matchbreakers on

Ability has no impact on Putin’s decisions, only his delusions and them alone decide Russian expansionism.

    28. thebrowncanary on

Well he’s not wrong. The Ukraine war has proved that Russia isn’t a threat to NATO at all but most people seem to have taken the opposite lesson.

    29. yukabrother on

It seems that he is pushing Russians to attack rather to questioning
