      Funny how their precious “moral and legal obligations” don’t matter when it comes to disabled children.

      My kid is 8. I’ve been on the list for an autism diagnoses for 3 years now. I’m about to give up and go private. Keep getting told I’m still way down the list. I’m lucky her school gives extra help to all kids regardless of diagnosis so she has some extra help classes she attends. If the resource wasn’t there I’d be fucked.

      My friends got their kid assessed after years on the public waiting list and were told they just needed parenting lessons. They went private and the kid was diagnosed with dyspraxia and ADD.
