Ah yes I read that article. A little girl in Melbourne who’s dad owns a property investment group. She saved up $5k from the egregious pocket money her parents were giving her and then her parents topped her up with another $695k donation or something like that, to buy her first house. They’re also paying the remaining mortgage.

Well done to that little girl. I don’t know how smart or capable she is, but she’s definitely very lucky.

Also, fuck that dad and those newspapers that push it as the kids’ accomplishment to make us feel bad about ourselves and push the narrative that: “Look, it’s easy, even a child can do it. If you weren’t such an idiot maybe you’d have done it too”
