      So much sovereignty, much wow!

Looks like the lame government of Denmark can only show fangs against immigrants, spy for US against other European nations. But god forbid if they stop kowtowing to their American masters.

Maybe they’ll make a bill surrendering Greenland to the Americans. Trump doesnt even need to try.

It feels like that after Hungary, Denmark is the 2nd worst EU member.

As long as European countries continue to be like this, they will remain prisoners of the whims of POTUS and keep being hammered by Putin on the borders. No sense of self respect at all.

The country of Fridtjof Nansen, Niels Bohr and Søren Kierkegaard now produces such mediocre leaders that 94 of the 105 representatives vote to give away sovereignty. Shame on them and shame on anyone who supports this bill.

P.S. – I don’t understand why the post has been downvoted to oblivion when the OP is sharing an important piece of news.

If Denmark loses Greenland to the US, it would be entirely deserved. Lie down with a dog, get up with fleas.

I was told by this sub that Denmark is pushing back on US aggression and now this ?

What a dogshit title. Our PARLIAMENT voted on it, and like most politicians in the year of our Lord 2025, they are spineless vampire-like reptilians who went against the consensus of the popular sentiment. But obviously that only happens in Denmark, right.

I was told it’s different this time when I said the west has a history of claiming it’s moving on from America only to turn around and strengthen their relationship with America.

    6. Isnt this sending the wrong message to those who threaten denmark?

    7. Sadly this is valid for other countries too, here in Italy Meloni and Salvini wanted to give Musk total control with starlink, but Mattarella, the president of the republic, stopped them. We have a lot of politicians that are lobbyist and don’t do the national interests of their countries.

Tbh Denmark is the biggest simps for America, even going as far as helping America spy on other EU leaders. Not surprisingly they chose to bend the knee yet again.

“The Danish prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, said the situation between the two countries made it even more necessary to maintain close ties. “The problem is not too much involvement from the US in Europe. On the contrary, the risk is that the US will withdraw and move troops away or stop donations to Ukraine,” she said.”

I wasn’t expecting this from Denmark.

    10. Nobody I know understands why our politicians voted for this. It’s just too strange.

Meanwhile this is happening in the US: “Hegseth says the Pentagon has contingency plans to invade Greenland if necessary”. In what scenario is invading Greenland a necessity??

Giving military access to the country that threatened to attack you is wild yo!

Downright treasonous by everyone who voted for that bill.

Denmark makes it awfully easy for the US to take over Greenland.
