When ulster bank was closing I tried to open a bank account with them. It was so incredibly difficult and was such a runaround that I just gave up and went an post. I still get emails from them as if I’m a customer though
pretty sure that’s whitelabeled qualtrics, but not a good look either way.
Left BOI when they changed their fee structure, which meant I’d be paying €72 per year instead of €20. Will not be going back.

Left BOI years ago, after having been with them for far too long, and never regretted it. They’re so backwards, it’s unbelievable.
Have been with KBC and they had such an amazing app, was so sad when they left. Currently with PTSB, they’re better than expected based on their reviews. Never really had many issues with them and found them quite responsive when I needed them. App is ok too. Hopefully nothing changes in the future.

Leaving BOI for Bunq – far easier to use.
Never had any trouble with the app but some payments just kept bouncing and cards went on hold . I moved payments through PayPal and no issues.
