This article is less credible when it features not a word on the elephant in the room that is: NATO’s most significant member threatening annexation of fellow members’ territories 🫣
Idk how the UK is “extrodiarily strong” when we literally barely have an army. Top (UK ?) military commanders have calculated that in a war with Russia, we’d last 3-6 momths *if that* . If we’re one of the strongest countries in European NATO, then I’m legitimately surprised that Russia hasn’t strolled into Europe with his puppet Cheeto Benito in the White House.
I find it hilarious… Russia is consistently in a stalemate with a near peer but they are such a threat that we need to worry about them. I don’t want to blow smoke up Trump’s arse but he’s gotten the non US NATO partners to up their game. At the same time he’s gotten partners with some reach to pivot towards the Pacific where that power and projection is actually required.
Well, I’ve got a feeling that we’re going to have to fight to maintain our way of life. For king and country and all that.
