      Een gewone huisspin? Een beetje donkere foto om het goed te kunnen zien, maar zo eentje heb ik in de hal wonen, die lijkt er veel op.

      Volgens ObsIdentify een reuzensteatoda, *Steatoda nobilis*. De houding van de poten is daar vrij typisch voor. Een zeldzame exoot in NL, maar geen fijn beest. Komt oorspronkelijk van de Canarische Eilanden en Madeira en heeft een pijnlijke beet.

      Ik vermoed een *Steatoda* gezien de witte streep op het achtereind. *Steatoda Grossa* is vaker voorkomend in NL (en ook echt zo’n beetje de vaakstgeposte spin op r/whatspideristhis).. maar kan ook *Nobilis* zijn!

      Regular house spider. Doesn’t care much for you, loves to keep your house mosquito free.

      In case you’re foreign, there are no dangerous animals in The Netherlands apart from a viper or two in the east (and apparently wolves now too). Perhaps in the south a spider with a more painful bite could have migrated from France and Belgium, but other than that you’ll have a hard time finding anything that’ll do more damage to you than a wasp.

      It’s a regular house spider however it is one of the biggest , ugliest 1 we have in the Netherlands.

      I think it can also be “valse wolfspin” which is up and coming I believe in the Netherlands.

      Dakspin is hoe we die hier noemen. Verstopt zich graag in gaatjes, kieren en spleten. Vaak onder de dakgoot. Hij maakt niet echt een web, maar meer een soort holletje.
      Als je in een oud huis woont kom je hem vaker tegen dan in nieuwbouw.

      Looking at the images and based on the fact that you probably caught this in your residence, I think this is the “gewone huisspin” (giant house spider, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_house_spider).

      There are other species that resemble this spider, but most of them are a bit more exotic, or have a different habitat.
