Last time he started talking about his at a flower show. I am sure, he would raise the issue if I asked him for a Euro

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Mickey D will be sorely missed judging by the potential candidates for the election later in the year.

Insufferable obnoxious windbag can they not just consign him to the nursing home and close the door ….. another senile narcissist in high office who thinks it should be all about them and not regard or respect for the integrity of the office whatsoever

It’s harder to keep him quiet. It’s not like he was ever shy about expressing an opinion while president, even when it stepped beyond his presidential brief.

Well to be honest I wish he’d talk about the corruption in the country the dominance of MNCs, environment, the speaker incident and the housing crisis plus medical crisis.

I’m not dismissing him, but I hate how silent Michael D Higgins has been on the extremely serious issues in this nation that effect it’s own prospects of democracy in the future

Bit hypocritical of him though when in the past he’s praised Castro.
