Anybody who believes that EU will not retaliate if no agreement is reached is utterly delusional and has no idea what they are talking about. Most EU countries are for retaliation. Even if the Comission wanted to fold, it would never be able to. It doesn’t have the mandate. Unlike in the US, the EU “government” can’t ignore what its constituent parts and legislature want.
That is still on? I must admit that I gave up following this madness 8 weeks ago.
It just clicked that I don’t have to. He’s not my president. We don’t even have one of those.
At some point he will go away, and we will again be drowned in subpar cheap American shit on the shop shelves.
