Hey ragazzi,
Sono un cittadino tedesco appena fatto e mio figlio nascerà tedesco ma la mia ragazza (inglese) non siamo sposati, quindi nella legge tedesca che prenderà il suo cognome ma ho letto che le leggi sono cambiate a maggio.
Tuttavia non è molto chiaro, se posso solo usare il mio cognome o se devo effettivamente fare una dichiarazione di nome o meno.

You need a name deceleration if you want your child to have a different surname than the mothers. That can either be your surname or both of y’alls. Like Müller-Schmidt for example.
Edit: I researched a bit and from what I’ve found, you need to pay a fee for changing the last name. I found dues ranging around 20€-30€
