i dont see major changes to European aid to Ukraine since most important elections have passed, and no matter the result aid to Ukraine has continued

this includes countries like Italy and Netherlands, where the far right got into the government but aid to Ukraine continued

only country that stopped aid or weapons sales to Ukraine due to political shifts after an election is Slovakia, but they stopped only AID, while increasing sales of military equipment to Ukraine

until the French presidential election in 2027, aid to Ukraine from Europe is largely guaranteed

Russia already withdrew from storage over 50% of military equipment across all categories, by 2027 it will likely be 75%

by that point, Russia will be digging through the worst equipment remaining in storage and be reliant on NK artillery systems and even tanks

This is great. But more can be/should be done.

Tho i must admit i am slightly disappointed with the European countries with a border not so close to Russia.
You can do better.

And this is an investment that will pay itself off in the long run with cooperation and trade in the future, as friendships are made. Im pretty sure Ukraine will remember its friends, and its friends that did not come when their house was flooded by Russians.

I do not mean to single out Italians, but this is the number i have at hand. Italians give about 38 dollars worth of aid per year per person. Or about 10 cents per person, every day.

Then you have countries like Norway, who give about 2700 dollars per capita. That is about 7.4 dollars per person, every day.

I know Norway has a much healthier economy and more to give compared to Italians.

But Italian economy is not THAT bad. Italy is far from alone, Spain has similar statistics. As well as others.

Even me as a Norwegian will remember who helped us pull thru this, and who did not. So its not only Ukrainian favor you lose out on. Its mine as well.

Maybe i choose some imitation instead of Parmigiano Reggiano in spite.

Remember that time Russia shot down a plane full of Dutch people and annexed Crimea and the EU pushed forward with NS2. Remember that before you get your arms sore patting your own backs for finally trying to stop a ridiculous tyrant on your doorstep.

Germany sadly did not give enough together with other of the large countries, it’s kinda sad then the big and important countries don’t do enough @usa also
